Since she was seven years old, Gladys Jimenez remembers having a strong inner desire to know God. By age twelve, she had read the entire Bible, the Bhagavad Gita, and studied several other religions.
Even after studying many religions, Gladys was left with many unanswered questions. She became a seeker, placing her spiritual path as her first priority in life.
Gladys stopped searching in 1995, when she became ill and doctors told her she was going to die. After nine long months of enduring a painful illness, a shift happened in her life.
All of the beliefs Gladys had about God vanished as she experienced a loving energy source that filled her with love and bliss.
Many years later, as the blissful state started to fade away, Gladys wrote short messages to herself so she wouldn’t forget the lessons she had learned along her journey. Gladys’ friends found those messages encouraging during challenging times. This is how “Feel Good Thoughts” was created. It is a book created to remind us of what we already know, but sometimes forget when life gets busy.
Gladys’ message is about loving ourselves just as we are and simplifying our lives by slowing down and enjoying them.
Gladys is a mother, artist and certified life coach. She holds workshops in San Diego using expressive therapeutic art modalities to help others become more self-aware. Gladys enjoys reading, learning, and traveling. She currently lives in San Diego with her two teens, two dogs, and cat.
